Sangrand 2025

Puranmashi June 2025
The night of Full Moon is called as Puranmashi (Pooranmashi or Punia) in Punjabi and the hindi word for this is Purnima. On this night, moon is visible as full circle and brighter than other days. As this is associated with the rotation of moon around the earth and each cycle takes little more than 29 days, so the day of puranmashi comes after almost 29 days.The date of Puranmashi in June 2025 is Wednesday, 11th June and this is the Jeth sudi puranmashi.
The festival of Kabir Jayanti is also observed on the puranmashi of Jeth month. So the date of Kabir Jayanti in the current year is 11th June 2025. Masya June 2025
Masya or Amavasya is the new moon day. Moon is not visible on the night of masya. The day of Masya is related to the rotation of the moon around the earth. As earch rotation takes approximately 29 days, so the day of Masya comes after around 29 days. In the month of June, the date of Masya is 25th June 2025 (Wednesday) which is Harh Vadi Masya.According to Amanta Calendar (Hindu calendar from Amavasya to Amavasya), the new month starts from Amavasya.
